RONALD MOORE

Ron Moore is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from the University of Houston School of Business Administration, where he graduated as a finance major. Additionally, he has completed post baccalaureate work in accounting. As an exemplary student, Ron joined Beta Gamma Sigma and other honor societies.

After college, Ron spent many years as an executive with NL Baroid Petroleum Services. He was both the Manager of General Accounting and the Manager of Fixed Assets when he left NL Baroid to become Plant & Machinery Inc.’s Controller. Today, Ron is now the President of PMI. He handles contract negotiations, valuations, advertising, logistics, and also serves as the company’s principal auctioneer. His father started in the machinery business in the 1930’s and Ron carries on that tradition today. Ron has been with PMI since the inception of the corporation.

Ron serves on various community boards and is very active within his church. For many years he has volunteered his time as the auctioneer for the Art Director’s Club of Houston Auction and also volunteered as the auctioneer for the annual Houston Leukemia Society Charity Auction. He is a member of the National (USA), Canadian, and the Texas Auctioneers Association, and is licensed in many states across the country.
